Personality: Corbin often seems distant, and is in his own little world. Because of this he often appears unaproachable, but is fairly friendly, and will be prety talkative if something he's interested in is mentioned. Otherwise, he's more of one to listen rather than join in on a conversation. He's not one to really show much of his emotions, subtle changes in his expression here and there based on his mood. He prefers the company of a few friends over the company of a party of strangers or associates. Basically, an introvert through and through. Corbin is pretty tolerant of those that annoy him, but when he snaps it's more passive agressive, or merely a snarky remark. Basically, he isn't as... Violent as most of his kin in folk lore.
History: Being the second youngest of four children wasn't fun at all, especially since he was the only boy amongst them. Though that was really the only tough thing in Corbin's life. The rest was pretty normal. He went to school, had a couple of friends, and got into plenty of trouble as a teen. Really the only thing different was his race, which he had to keep secret from everyone outside of his family. It was a little difficult, considering he was physically unable to lie, but he managed. His home life was a little more tense than his life with humans, considering his family prided themselves in their death knells. Corbin however did not, even if the wails sounded like music to his Bean-Sidhe ears. They were just too loud for him, and wailing himself hurt too much. His parents prodded him often that he just needed practice, but Corbin refused, not wanting to deal with the pain of strengthening his vocal chords. Instead he went down the more difficult path of the Bean-Sidhe. Bottling it up. His parent's weren't happy with that, concerned for their son's health. At least nothing bad happened to him when he sensed the death of others, aside from his panic attacks caused by the overwhelming urge to wail. After graduating highschool, Corbin didn't really know what to do with himself. He didn't want to go to college with more humans, to hide himself for even longer for the sake of education. Instead he lazed around for about a year, tolerating the sibling torment from his sisters while he tried to think of something. That "something" came soon enough, in the form of an ad his father found. Corbin did all the research he could on Monstrum Academy, and only after he was satisfied with what he found, did he decide to go. Sending in an application to the school, Corbin waited excitedly to be accepted. Then he would pack his bags and head off to Norway.

Other: When he cries, he looks like he's crying blood. Though he would never confirm nor deny if it is or not. Corbin also cannot lie, or step onto hallowed ground unless it had been desecrated. Instead of wailing like his kin when he senses death, Corbin has a silent panic attack. Although he is alive and has a pulse, his skin is at best room temperature. When he experiences a different language, he can understand and speak it, since he is of fae origin. Corbin can also travel from one place to another via dark areas, but for someone his age he can only travel short distances. If he tries to travel long distances, he will end up in some unknown area.
